Nigerian Architects, Annual General Meeting.  

Peter Obi  was  at the 2022 Annual General Meeting of the Nigerian Institute of Architects, on Friday 25th of November in Calabar Cross River State to share is ideas and perspective on “Housing and Design” that would improve and shape national development. The intelligent and simple Peter Obi who was met with a warm over joyous crowd also added that, the country is faced with severed Housing deficits, he insisted that 28million houses need to be built to meet national needs and it would cost 60Trillion Naira to actualize. 


His word , “ We need to partner with you (Architects). Our role will be to create the enabling environment via the right of laws; regulating and preserving of poverty ; employing the force of the community; and public good. 


but before harping on these points I must delve  into two critical variables - Vision and commitment. What is grossly missing in Nigeria’s leadership, governance and economical realms, is the lack of efficiency. 


…We are aware that our existing national infrastructure are decrepit and crumbling. We are housing challenged.  We have as a nation been inconsistent on our infrastructural planning and funding. This is an area we must tackle urgently.


The Labour Party president aspirant, Obi, also added that Nigeria is poised to be African leading nation as we leverage more on private funding to meet continent’s Infrastructure financing needs. He estimated $68 to $108 Billion annually to actualize this plan .


Over 300, 000 participants came online yesterday to support Labour Party, Peter Obi on a “90minutes with PO”, which was organized to sensitize the Online space.

ICPC arrests Dbanj for fraud.

ICPC arrests/detains dbanj for fraudulently siphoning N-Power funds, reports says he connived with some government officials, created ghost beneficiaries and paid the money into accounts which have been linked to him.  Founded by President Muhammadu Buhari, N-power is structured to address the issue of unemployment and also help increase social development . The scheme is part of National Social Investment Program, a social welfare scheme created by the Federal government of Nigeria to provide skills acquisition and jobs for youths and a monthly salary of N30,000. NNPC remmits zero dollars since 2014

Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC Central Bank of Nigeria Governor, Godwin Emfiele admits that remittance from crude oil sales went from $3 billion to zero, $0.00, under his watch & that of the President & Minister of Petroleum.
