The Former Governor of Gombe State, Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo gave out buses as donations to Atiku’s Presidential Campaign in Gombe, on Monday November 21.

Before his recent appearance with the Former Vice President, Dankwambo was a political ally to Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike and a member of “Integrity Group” which consisted of Governor Samuel  Ortom of Benue, Ifeanyi Ugwanyi of Enugu, Seyi Mankinde of Oyo and Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State.

The group that calls themselves the “Integrity Group” of PDP have vowed not to campaign for Atiku’s Presidential bid, said Wike when he spoke on behalf of the Group on Thursday, November 24th. They also claimed to fight for equity, fairness and justice for the poor masses.

Crisis within the party continues to linger over the continuous stay of the Party’ National Chairman, Dr. Iyorchia Ayu as the leader of the party. The G5 Governors have also refused to campaign and vowed not to campaign for the party’s Presidential candidate over the unrest.

However, Ibrahim Dankwambo  who was the Governor of Gombe state from 2011 to 2019 and former member of the Group was seen among other Party stalwarts  at Atiku’s rally, where he donated 20 buses to help with the campaign which indicated his strong support for the former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar.
