LAURETTA GETS NDDC CHAIRMANSHIP NOMINATION.

The special Adviser on Social Media to President Muhammadu Buhari and Former INEC Commissioner representing Delta State, Lauretta Onochie gets NDDC chairmanship nomination. 


This was read out by Senate President Ahmed Lawan, on wednesday at the plenary.

More over, 15 nominees were also sent for board membership of the commission, among the 15 nominees are; 


  1. Chief Samuel Ibukun (MD).
  2. Major General Charles Ehigie Airhiavbere , (Director of Finance).
  3. Charles Ogunmola (Director of Project).
  4. Pius Odubu( Former deputy Governor of Edo State).
  5. Dimagba Erugba(Abia State).
  6. Ene Wilcox(Akwa Ibom).
  7. Gbengba Odegba(Ondo State).
  8. Anthony Ekene(Imo State).
  9. Onyekachi Dimgba(Rivers State).

According to Vanguard Newspaper published November 22nd, a group of Anioma people led by Mr. Tony Ugbeji , have gone to congratulate her on her nomination as Chairman of Niger Delta Development Commision (NDDC).

The commision was established in the year 2000 by Former President Olusegun Obasanjo, with the sole purpose of developing the Niger Delta region of Nigeria.

The date for nominees screening by the senate will be announced in due time.

Eric Harris & Dylan Klebold:   Both Americans were involved in one of the deadliest mass shootings in America, the murder duo went to Columbia High school where they were seniors, killed 13 people and wounded 24 others. After the shooting, they later committed suicide.  Harris and Klebold were born the same year in 1981, Harris was born in Kansas, but his family moved to Colorado while Klebold was born in Columbia, where he was also raised. The duo met in 7th grade, then became friends.  According to reports, Harris began planning the murders, a year before the incident.  The FBI reported that Harris was a psychopath, who exhibited tendency of Narcissistic traits and lacks empathy. PDP blames opposition party for Lagos Street Market Inferno.

Famous Lagos Street Market, a huge commercial hub for wholesalers in Benin city, was gutted by fire on Tuesday night, billions worth of goods were loss.  The fire incident seemed to have stirred up the heat between the incumbent, PDP and the opposition party, APC.  On Wednesday, Edo state Commissioner for Communication and Orientation, Mr. Chris Nehikhare, pointed fingers at the leadership of the APC for being the ones responsible for the inferno that    caused the loss of billions worth of goods.
