South Southern geopolitical Governors, Edo State Gov. Godwin Nogheghase Obaseki, Akwa Ibom State Gov. Udom Emmanuel, Delta State Gov. Ifeanyi Okowa who's the Vice-presidential candidate of the People Democratic Party (PDP) and the host State Governor Douye Diri of Bayelsa State who welcomed the Governors in Yenegao, met today 23rd of November,

Gov. Ifeanyi Okowa spoke with pressmen shortly after his arrival and assured his party fellows and Nigerians of certain victory for his party in the forthcoming Presidential Election will emerge victorious. He further added that the issues between River's Governor Wike and the party is being worked on.

" We believe we're one family and there're still issues...they're being attended to at the moment.

very soon there will be a meeting between G5 Governors and the Presidential candidate of the party. " While the host, Governor Douye Diri also assured that their party will emerge the winner, he also described the issues within the party as family issues that will be resolved as family.

G5 MEETING IN LAGOS
Some aggrieved members under a faction called "The Integrity Group", of the People Democratic Party is demanding that the chairman of the party, Dr. Iyorchia Ayu should be replaced by somebody from the south. this caused an uproar during the meeting. The Group, which is made of Wike Nyesom, Governor of Rivers State, Gov. Sheyi Makinde of Oyo State, Abia State Gov. Okezie Ikpeazuan and Enugu State Gov. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi were all in attendance in the G5 meeting held on Sunday in Lagos State.

ICPC arrests Dbanj for fraud.

ICPC arrests/detains dbanj for fraudulently siphoning N-Power funds, reports says he connived with some government officials, created ghost beneficiaries and paid the money into accounts which have been linked to him.  Founded by President Muhammadu Buhari, N-power is structured to address the issue of unemployment and also help increase social development . The scheme is part of National Social Investment Program, a social welfare scheme created by the Federal government of Nigeria to provide skills acquisition and jobs for youths and a monthly salary of N30,000.
