Valiant effort from African's pride, they played their hearts out, although the black stars of Ghana were beaten by a 3-2 defeat, giving the Portuguese a lead ahead in thier Group Stage, with 3points on top South Korea and Uruguay sharing one points each and Ghana with zero below the table.


Portugal’s triumphs over the black stars of Ghana were made possible by Ronaldo’ lead Goal, which he scored through penalty, making him the first man to ever score in five World Cup competitions, followed by goals by J. Felix at 78th Minute and the 80th minute goal by R. Leao which saw Portuguese team ahead of the black stars of Ghana.

ICPC arrests Dbanj for fraud.

ICPC arrests/detains dbanj for fraudulently siphoning N-Power funds, reports says he connived with some government officials, created ghost beneficiaries and paid the money into accounts which have been linked to him.  Founded by President Muhammadu Buhari, N-power is structured to address the issue of unemployment and also help increase social development . The scheme is part of National Social Investment Program, a social welfare scheme created by the Federal government of Nigeria to provide skills acquisition and jobs for youths and a monthly salary of N30,000.
