Wike apologizes to Oshiomole over Edo gubernatorial assist.

The governor spoke yesterday, in Port Harcourt, at the inauguration of the 8th flyover being constructed by his administration. This event saw the attendance of former governor of Edo state, Adams Oshiomole who was the seating Governor of Edo state between 2008 and 2006 and was succeeded by Gov. Godwin Obaseki the incumbent, whom was fairly assisted by Gov. Wike during the election between Oshiomole protege Pastor Ize Iyamu and the now incumbent executive governor of Edo state.

The governor  used the opportunity to tend his sincere apology to Oshiomole for his Godfathered assists and backlash comments made during the election process.

He said; “You know I came to Edo State to make sure your candidate didn’t win election. I was virtually in charge, everyday coming out on television to take you on, and I said you’ll not win and you obviously didn’t win.

“well, that assignment has been done, we now know who is who. I want to tell my people, I sincerely apologize to you.”

POLITICS IS NOT WAR…

Oshiomole praises for his outstanding beautiful projects in Rivers, saying results don’t lie.

He further added;  “ Executive exchanges have a way of communicating to the people that political divide is not war. “
