Aminu to meet Buhari after release.


Aminu Adamu is a final year student of the Federal University, Dutse, Jigawa State, he was arrested for body shaming the wife of the president, Aisha Buhari.


On jun 8 , Adamu posted in Hausa which translates to ‘ Mama has eaten poor people’s money and she’s now full’ , with a screenshot of the president’s wife Aisha Buhari, he was arrested and charged to court. 


Meanwhile, his arrest has made several headlines and also raised a lot of criticisms by the people over the manner at which the young student was treated over a mere tweet that mocked Aisha Buhari .


The president of National Association of Nigeria Students(NANS) has apologized for the tweet.


Kabiru Shehu, the guardian of the arrested student spoke to leadership news exclusively and confirmed that the president’s wife, Aisha Buhari has withdrawn her case against Aminu Adamu, he further expressed his gratitude “ We are happy about this development and we are happy. We can’t wait to reunite with him” , he said. 


Before the recent changes, the student was remanded in Suleja prison in Niger State earlier this week by a court. 


The case filed against Aminu by James Idachaba  reads ;  “That you Aminu, male of Anguwar Sarak una , Bauchi State sometimes between May-June 2022 within the jurisdiction of this honorable court , did intentionally opened a Twitter handle with the name @aminullahie aka Catalyst and screenshot the photograph of Her Excellency Hajia Aisha Buhari and wrote on it in Hausa Language “ Su Mama anchi Kudi talakawa ankoshi “ roughly translated to English Language to mean “ Mamam has embezzled monies meant for the poor to her satisfaction” and posted the above on your Twitter page for the members of the public to read knowing same to be false and capable of affecting her reputation . You thereby committed an offense punishable under section 391 of the Panel code. “

Eric Harris & Dylan Klebold:   Both Americans were involved in one of the deadliest mass shootings in America, the murder duo went to Columbia High school where they were seniors, killed 13 people and wounded 24 others. After the shooting, they later committed suicide.  Harris and Klebold were born the same year in 1981, Harris was born in Kansas, but his family moved to Colorado while Klebold was born in Columbia, where he was also raised. PDP blames opposition party for Lagos Street Market Inferno.

Famous Lagos Street Market, a huge commercial hub for wholesalers in Benin city, was gutted by fire on Tuesday night, billions worth of goods were loss.  The fire incident seemed to have stirred up the heat between the incumbent, PDP and the opposition party, APC.  On Wednesday, Edo state Commissioner for Communication and Orientation, Mr. Chris Nehikhare, pointed fingers at the leadership of the APC for being the ones responsible for the inferno that    caused the loss of billions worth of goods.
