Tinubu continues campaign in Kaduna


The Presidential aspirant of All Progressives Party(APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu arrived Kaduna State 11:00pm on Monday and was recieved by Governor El Rufia and other Party stakeholders at the Dana Air wing of Nigeria Air Force(NAF) ahead of the rally programmed for Tuesday, December 13. 


Before the rally which would commence later in day, Aiwaju had a stakeholders meting with Nasir Gov. El Rufia, the Governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Uba Sani, Kaduna State House of Assembly Speaker, Yusuf Zailani and other top dignitaries.


Malam Haruna Danja, the State Director of Youths Mobilization for APC Presidential campaign, spoke at meeting yesterday, he encouraged the youths to mobilize eligible voters to cast votes for the Party’s candidate. 


His words; “ The 16 policies of Asiwaju Tinubu, if elected President, remain the best solution to the problems in Nigeria. 


“It’s also necessary to elect Dr. Dikko Umaru Radda as the governor of Katsina State and the APC senatorial candidate for Katsina south, Muntari Dandutse, and other candidates on the platform of the APC. 


At his arrival, the presidential aspirant visited the monarch’s palace in Kaduna, where he was booed by crowd shouting “ Bamayi “, meaning; “we know dey do”.

2.7 Million living with HIV - UNICEF

Image: Pixabay   According to UNICEF, more than 110 children between the ages of 0-19 years died from AIDS in 2021 and the report also states that there’re 310,000 newly infected cases, which makes up 2.7million people living with HIV currently.   The report point out that    new HIV infections among younger children within 0 - 14years reduced by 52% from 2010 to 2021 and infections among adolescents with the age range of 15 - 19years also reduced by 40% .  Meanwhile antiretroviral drugs among pregnant women living with HIV also increased from 46% to 81% within the span of 10years.  Adults living with HIV has been increasing for the past seven years, currently 20% higher than children . ICPC arrests Dbanj for fraud.

ICPC arrests/detains dbanj for fraudulently siphoning N-Power funds, reports says he connived with some government officials, created ghost beneficiaries and paid the money into accounts which have been linked to him.  Founded by President Muhammadu Buhari, N-power is structured to address the issue of unemployment and also help increase social development . The scheme is part of National Social Investment Program, a social welfare scheme created by the Federal government of Nigeria to provide skills acquisition and jobs for youths and a monthly salary of N30,000.
