Nnamdi Kanu urges Easterners to disregard 5day-sit-at-home order.


Detained IPOB Boss, Nnamdi Kanu told the people of Biafran to ignore the order circulating on social media sphere that’s demanding 5day sit at home order to prevent residents of South East from voting/participating in the 2023 General Election, he condemned the act and urged the people to disregard whoever are behind the misleading video and refrained from the because it’s malicious. 


This was made known by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s younger brother , who visited DSS  where he’s currently being held. According to the statement released by Nnamdi through his brother , it reads:


“My brother said that our people should know that those who issue such orders are the enemies of Biafra and must be dealt with. 


“He told me that Biafrans  should know that he is in detention for their sake and not to accommodate problems. 


The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) boss reacts to the video in circulation threatening the people into pressurizing them into a 5day sit at home against the election, he urged the people of Biafran to go about their legitimate businesses without fear of being molested by anybody or by the masterminds of the video.


Social-cultural group in Nigeria, Ohanaeze Ndigbo , with sole aim of representing Igbo communities both within and outside Nigeria, also added that they’ve renounced whoever are the masterminds behind the 5day sit at home order being imposed on the people and that it is not in the same view with what the organization stand for.
