NNPCL meet to adjust pump price.

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), yesterday, announced that it has adopted a new method of supplying fuel across the country, by making the pumping price N148 per litre.   This came as the independent marketers claimed they have been trying to move the price from N200 per liter, and also they calmed it has been difficult to meet with the demands made by the Department of State Services, DSS, instructing marketers to adjust pump price within 48hours. The meeting that was held yesterday between marketers and stakeholders, independent markets were specific about the difficulties selling fuel at N170 per litre like their counterparts, the NNPCL, until the issue is resolved within.  Operations Controller, Independent Marketers Association of Nigeria, IPMAN, Mr. Mike Osatuyi, confirmed the changes , his word : “ Our members have now been allowed to lift petrol at N148 per litre, meaning that we can now reduce our pump prices. APC continues Presidential campaign in Kaduna.

Tinubu continues campaign in Kaduna The Presidential aspirant of All Progressives Party(APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu arrived Kaduna State 11:00pm on Monday and was recieved by Governor El Rufia and other Party stakeholders at the Dana Air wing of Nigeria Air Force(NAF) ahead of the rally programmed for Tuesday, December 13.  Before the rally which would commence later in day, Aiwaju had a stakeholders meting with Nasir Gov. Atiku awaits Wike after 5 failed attempts

  The Presidential  Candidate of the People Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, on Saturday in Abuja while speaking at a town hall meeting organized by Channels Television spoke on the crisis within the party.  Atiku said, he has met with Governor Wike who is the spokesperson for Integrity party, two times in Port Harcourt, two times in Abuja, one time in London, personally. “It is not my part; it is on the other side ; I am waiting for him.”  Recall, Governor Wike and memebers of the integrity, Governor Samuel Ortom (Benue), Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi (Enugu), Okezie Ikpeazu (Abia), Seyi Makinde (Oyo) and some stakeholders of the librated group of the party have refused to endorse Atiku Abubakar’s Presidential Campaign over failure of the National chairman of the party(PDP) resignation.  Dr. Iyorchia Ayu succceded Prince Uche Secondus in 2021. Man molested a lady with Down Syndrome in Ogun State.

Ogun state police command arrested Kunle Abati a 29year old man for sexually molesting a lady with Down syndrome., the suspect was apprehended December 7, 2022. According to the statement by Ogun State Police command, Public Relations Officer, SP Abimbola Oyeyemi; following a report issued at Ilesa Ijebu divisional headquarters by the victim’s mother. The mother of the victim said, she sent her daughter on errand at 7:30am, but upon her return blood stains were found on her dress.  When the victim was questioned about the stains on her dress, she took them to Kunle’s house and said he had sexual intercourse with her.  The case was reported to the police, DPO Ilesa Ijebu. CSP Paul Omiwole instructed officers to apprehend the suspect. Upon interrogation the suspects confessed to the crime and also emphasized on her disability as an advantage for his mischief. .

Street harassment in the Uk to get stiffer punishment.

Suella Braverman who was appointed UK’s Secretary of State for Home Department in October 2022 while speaking at the House of Commons, said  that street harassment will attract up to 7years behind bars. The former attorney general for England and Wales also urged travelers to be careful    while embarking on their journeys within the Uk.  “Every woman should feel safe to walk our streets. We are putting the needs of victims at heart of our decision, which will mean the criminals who commit these acts face the consequences they deserve,” Suella Braverman said.  The survey conducted by BBC in March showed that One-Third of the women in the uk are not safe walking alone at night for fear of being harassed. Cashless policy will damage economy- Olabode George

The former Military Governor of Oando State, Chief Olabode George in his recent statement, said ; the cashless policy by CBN would bring hardships . He  spoke at the Award of Grand Service Star of Rivers State(GSSR), which was held in Lagos.
